Soap stick (tube cap) question

Tried a Mama Bear lime ice shave stick yesterday.Really liked it. I also bought some extra tubes and melted down some VDH to make my own shave stick. Thought that was great also.

My question is, what do most of you do after you've used soap in tubes like this? I just put the cap right back on. Should I leave it off for a while to let it dry or anything like that?

I melted some vdh into the same tube from mb. I usually twist it up some more and let it air dry for a few hours. Just scared that if I didn't it would get slimey and get everything else in my dopp slimey

It will be fine if you close it up and put it away.

It will dry out before you use it again the next day.

It will be fine open or closed. My personal preference is open until dried after a warm pour. Either way it will not effect the product.
