What is the best way to get get shave soap samples from different companies? I have been using Stirling soaps, samples for a long time and as much as I like their shave and body products, it would nice to get out of the comfort zone. Am I just better off going to each company and seeing what is offered? I see a lot of different brands and scents posted on the forums but buying 10 pucks of soap at $20+ is not possible.

Try Shavedash. Samples are all they do.
Maggards Razor has a bunch of soap, cream, and aftershave samples from various companies.
I ordered a TOBS soap sampler through Amazon that was provided by West Coast Shaving. It was really nice sampler pack that was helpful in determining what scents I liked.

I too adore Stirling soaps! There's no reason to stop using them IMO. But you could try Captains Choice samples, hope you like their soaps too.
