How do you rotate your soaps, if you do? How long between changing? Is there a shelf life to a soap? I have more than I need, and it could be weeks. or months before each one's turn comes up.

When I was whittling down my purchases to a minimalist kit of one soap I rotated them. But not now.
I rotate my soaps very systematically. I use one soap until another soap grabs my fancy.

soaps dont really have a shelf life at all. They lose scent over time (we're talking years here), but only slightly.

Usually I just use whatever strikes my fancy with no real rhyme or reason. Just pick on a whim.

I just grab 'em as the mood strikes, with the only exceptions being the Old Spice puck and Williams shave stick. I try to take it easy on them as they are expensive or hard to replace, so those are special occasion items.

I'm down to a sliver of VDH Deluxe in a mug that I've been working on for over a year and a half. Still makes great lather. Still smells great. (That is, if you LIKE the lather and smell of VDH... ;-)
