Did you ever try Phoenix AA Cavendish if you like the smokiness of Cognac & Cuban Cigars?

Cavendish performs well but the scent was way too sweet for me.

I love the scent of Cognac and Cuban Cigars; but the performance of Henri et Victoria is not as good as some of the other soaps you purchased. Still, I enjoy the scent so much that I overlook the performance shortcomings.

I was a little disappointed in the performance also but I purchased it before all of the super duper formulas were introduced by various artisans so that alone kind of makes everything else seem 2nd tier. Still performs well enough
and the scent has to be one of the best in wet shaving

Recently got DG Sellout and love the scent and paired it the the Spartacus AS from A&E. Working on some samples from Maggards to narrow down my choices of scent from Zingari sego and WK siero bases.

Me too. Grooming Dept Encens Agrumes and Highland Springs Soap Co Eclipse beckoned and I answered the siren call. Ah, the shame of it all.

liked cognac and Cuban cigars better but it sets my face on fire.

It set my face on fire too. Too bad because it is a great scent.

My first container of Cella FINALLY came today (it was originally supposed to be delivered on Thursday).

Can't wait to shave with it tomorrow.

I like the scent - very similar to Captain's Choice 45th Parallel but not quite as strong a scent.
