Soap Acquisition Thread

Ogallala used to be my favorite soap, until I tried a lot of other soaps. I adore the scent, but the performance is just "meh." IMO, of course. But I recently discovered that I get significantly better performance when I face lather, so I thought I'd give it another shot, this time in stick form. Looking forward to trying it out tomorrow morning.

Interested in a description of the scent on this one. The website isn’t particularly specific in describing the smell.

It's hard to describe the smell of Oceana but I'll try
It is delicate, fresh, bright, a bit aquatic, citrus.
The strength of the fragrance 4-5 / 10 is light and very pleasant.
Weird but it seems creamy to me.
I can feel bergamot and jasmine in it combined with the scent of sand.
Definitely summer, spring, I would say joyful.
Modeled on Aqua di Gio and you can feel it.
And most importantly, the Softheart base is amazing.

Wow, that was an outstanding description. I’ve added Oceana to my short list. Thank you!

New to me and apparently used once each for a YouTube review the above shaving soaps.
1) Mr Smooth Yin scented Shave Soap.
2) Soapera Facial Soap Bay Rum Soap.
3) Australian Natural Soap Company Shaving Soap.
They came off eBay Australia and were too good to pass up. Now to fit them into the soap rotation somewhere.

Pretty big hall this month from various sources!

The Pentagon's Lord is the old tallow formula and the soap is still in its cellophane wrapper and the Palmolive sticks worked out cheaper in bulk! I have two Fine Classic soaps on route as well (Italian Citrus and Green Vetiver) that I figured I better pick up before they disappear!
