Multiple choice, so I picked 3, but had it been just 1 it would be M&F. I think my brush AD days are over, but I do have a Shavemac on the way. If I get anything else it will be a M&F impulse buy off the bst.

I own or have owned brushes from most of the big makers on the list. Lee Sabini's brushes offer more value for what you pay per brush, but my Chubby ll in Somerset stock handle is my first love. Simpson just offers some fantastic brushes is some of the sexiest handles out there, but if course it is just my opinion. My first choice is Simpson.

Surprised you would pick M&F over Rooney, since - to my limited knowledge - they supposedly share the same kind of hair and are made by the same OEM (Lee).
Do you feel M&F blond badger hairs are superior to Rooney's 2-Band hair, Vlad ?

Also if you're lucky enough to get hold of one of the better made Simpsons 2-Band brushes, you have something quite good IMHO
But I have yet to try the Rooney 2-Band hairs and still have not got a reply from Lee regarding an order for an M&F Blond Badger 2-Band brush, and I emailed him 1 week ago now :crying:

I guess I have to say that when you put the very best hair Lee has in a horn handle, it just doesn't get any better. I'm not counting original Heritage 3 or 2 band because I think they were unique and cannot be duplicated. And I don't mean to make it sound like the old hair you can't get anymore is good and new stuff is bad, it's just unique and am glad I got some.

Actually, the brush I look most forward tto using these days is a blonde badger chubby.

Being that I only have tried Simpsons (love my chubby :001_wub:), Omega and VDH it was an easy pick for me, since the others were not options (either on the poll or by choice :001_tt2:). I still want to try Thater, M&F and saville row though.

No Semogue?

I'm really sorry that I left out Semogue :blushing:

Can a mod or Steward please edit my poll and maybe put Semogue in as last option instead of 'None of the above' ?
Remember there are only 12 poll choices available - so have to leave out some brands (probably some I have never heard of though....)

I voted Rudy Vey. I haven't tried brushes from every maker, but I've tried quite a few and haven't been all that impressed with most of them. I've found Rudy to match or exceed the quality and performance of the big names with unparalleled customer service and all at a much more attractive/sane price point.

OkieStubble

Dirty Donuts are so Good.
Omega
Vintage handles w/TGN knots
VDH (I like it)
Semogue (2 shaves in on my 1305. may move up the list after break in)
