What's new

So I guess I need a new sac?

So, I finally got my hands on a vintage Esterbrook lever fill fountain pen! It needs a new sac and from what I can tell it needs a #16 size sac. This will be the first fountain pen I will attempt to clean and re-sac myself. I do not plan on restoring any number of pens and in an attempt to keep costs down, I am only looking to purchase one sac. Do any of you gentlemen know any companies or sites that sell single replacement sacs not in multi-packs. I am trying to avoid paying for a pack of 5 or more just to use one. Any help is much appreciated, as always! Thanks!

I know the kit Nemo and some of the other guys put together has re-surfaced. Maybe get on the list to get it after whoever is getting mailed to them now. Even if you buy the single sac, you are going to nee shellac and talc.

Thank you fellas for all the help. Doug was nice enough to help me out! Once again, I can't thank the guys on this forum enough for all the knowledge and assistance provided in the worlds of shaving, fountain pens, and all things awesome! Here's to another AD!

Now half as wise
Now that the pen repair kit has resurfaced, this is really the best bet if you just want to do one or two. It'll have shellac, talc, some gripper pads, sacs, etc.

For whomever has the kit, or anyone else that need some talc, let me know. 500 grams is a lot of talc.
