Do you wade through a foot and a half of snow, or is it more like ankle-deep?
You probably don't need heavy felt-pack boots, unless you are going out in temperatures far too cold for your dog. A pair of wool socks is all the insulation your feet needs.
If Redwing Gentleman Travellers are too tough on your feet, Dr Martens should be fine.
If traction is an issue, get your boots resoled with Vibram Gumlite lug soles. (Emphasis on the Gumlite!)
