Snagged this at an Antique Shop today. What do I have? :x

Sorry for the Newb-ness.. I've "identified" this razor about 3 times now where I thought I knew what it was- however I was wrong I believe.. So tell me what did I pick up at the antique shop today?

It needs cleaned up a little bit, but overall in pretty great shape! I got it for I believe a steal at $8. Did I do well guys??

I'm wondering the same. I initially thought "Slim" until someone said "gold" . . .

Either way, the razor looks solid . . . $8 is a bargain for a Slim . . . outright thievery for a Slim Aristocrat!!

Yes boys, it is indeed Gold. She is a beaut! It cleaned up so nice, I'll post some updated pics later.

Out of curiosity, how much would a '61 Slim Aristocrat go for? I have no intentions on selling because a slim or a fatboy has been the razor I've wanted to get my hands on since i've started. Love the ability to adjust it, so many razors in one!

The prices on the 'bay or BST on these razors is usually based on condition and if it comes with a case. $25-45 for a condition like this if most plating is intact seems fair.
