Snagged an early flare tip today

Stopped at a collectibles store on the way home today.
Scored a couple of goodies, including a flare tip Super Speed.
It was covered in mung and crud but looked like it should clean up.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Happy to see it was an early flare tip..date code B1 1956

I'll give it a test drive tomorrow morning..

Also picked up a GEM single blade razor that I posted in the appropriate forum

Very nice. I'm always impressed at how well the Super Speeds clean up especially when they have soap scum and an old blade from a bygone era.

Beautiful! I scored a B-2 Red Tip today but it's not nearly as nice.
