Sling bags for men - yes or no

I often carry a Saddleback Leather Messenger bag, and don't feel uncomfortable doing it. I've only had a very few women make fun of me for my "murse", all men ask what brand it is and where can they get one.

I've got one which is blood proof and says "Browning" on it...otherwise, not my style.
