Slim question

I just took deliver of a slim and was wondering what setting on the slim most closely mirrors the super speed. TIA.

I recently picked up a Super Speed and Looking at the heads Side by side loaded. I'd say somewhere closer to "4" maybe even 5. I have the same blades in them and Focused on the gaps. The Super Speed is higher than I thought. Mild to most. I read a lot of people using "9" on the Slim. Lol I'd slice half my face off with that. Mine stays on 3/4 range now as a Newb. Lol

On my SS TV Special, I'd say 3.

40s SS = 3-4
50s/60s Silver SS = 3
60s/70s Black handle SS = 2

YMMV of course.

I learned on a '56 Super Speed then moved on to my '64 Slim. At first I tried to mimic SS performance with the Slim but I discovered that was the best idea...why? They are 2 different razors! Once I started using the Slim to its capability the shaves really took off for me.

I agree with you. The head geometry is not exactly the same
