Sleek DIY Brush scuttle Scuttle <$20

Ordered a couple things recently without being entirely sure how well it would work. I got a 12 oz soda koozie (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FBY45WS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) and these cups: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094VNPSZB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Together, they make a functionally perfect brush scuttle.

The cups slot into the koozie and the single walled steel of the inserted cup conducts heat great. The koozie is vacuum insulated so retains the heat from water. You obviously lose some heat over time from the insert radiating to air but at 15 minutes it's still uncomfortable to touch the bottom of the insert after filling from an espresso machine (~200f). It ends up looking quite nice in a utilitarian way, and gets a brush as hot as you could possibly want, entirely dependent on the temperature of water you initially put in the koozie. I expect this will get VERY warm from just hot sink water and stay that way throughout a shower or bath, and I won't have to use any kind of hot water heater.

Plus, it's cheap.

Attached is a photo of the finished product (not the best photo).
