Lovely photo. The S1 is a nice razor, a good razor, according to what I know of it. I don't have one. However, I do have an ATT S2, and can tell you it's a very good slant.

Slantember is coming to a close this week.

It is getting close to 350 shaves posted, over 200 posts included some shave porn to enjoy.

60 B&Bers have posted to the thread, 46 have posted shaves.

There are about 6 'everyday' posters. About 4 more are in double figures.

Various FOCS are totaling almost 100 posts.

Merkur 37s and similar heads, including the RR German 37, are a strong second to the FOCS.

The iKon X3, the PAA monster double slants, the Yaqi, the Parker SemiSlant, and the Maggard slant have all made it to double figures.

A number of rarities have been posted. @Clouds is strong there, but several others have posted some gems from the past. And unusual slants from the present.

Blades? Astra is kicking butt at 90 slant appearances, with SP leading SS. @alin has an immortal Astra that is pushing up the count by itself.

7 O'clock Yellow are making a good showing, as are PolSilver in SS (PIF?) and SI.

Other double figure blades: Feather, GSB, Nacet, Personna Red, Shark SS.

Shave on, gentlemen! That voluptuous diva doesn't sing until midnight on the 30th.

I am super excited that RazoRock has released a 75x10mm stainless handle that is a tribute to the Gillette thin common bar. "Super excited" means I ordered four of them.

Very nice boozy-like scent from this soap. The lather is of cors very creamy and slick too...one of my Stirling favs...
A great shave with the SemiSlant paired with this excellent blade. Super smooth, crisp, and comfortable in 3passes without any issues for a dolphin smooth finish. Matching aftershaves were awesome!

Although I have only tried a few, in my belief and based on what has been reported, Above the Tie's entire lineup shaves smoothly. Have you, perchance, had an opportunity to compare the S1 with the Windsor?

The @Old Hippie favorite ATT S2 has yet to get its chance this month.

I had some other things going on yesterday, so although I shaved I didn't follow through the documentation. But, "...as you wish..."

There are razors that shave me closer, faster; but I can't use them every day. There are razors with more eye appeal; but I'd rather have understated looks and stellar performance than the other way round. The S2 is just it. Having just come off a shave with the fabled -- and rightly so! -- Merkur Super Slant SB I have to say that for me the "MSS" has very firmly nailed down the #2 position. Would I use it every day? I'm not sure. I am sure that I could use the S2 every day, and get the best of shaves each and every time.

Absolutely brilliant shave today.
I do love fresh blades in razors.
Razorock Lupo .95 followed by a German 37 slant both with new Astra SP.
Brush was Razorock Chubby with The Dead Sea for soap - this is truly a top-tier soap for me.

Yesterday was so brilliant all I could muster this morning was a ONE pass shave with the same German 37/Astra SP combo.
Maggard badger with The Dead Sea.
