Is there anything in terms of technique that needs to be done differently with a slant or is it just the same as using a regular razor?

Same with better results, didnt know about Slant until last month where I got my Fatip OC Slant and Im in love. I know not all slants are that good but now Im eager to try more slants. Smooth, efficient and easy to ride : The FOCS.

I'm exactly where S&S is.
The slant changes the blade action automatically so you don't have to do anything special. It's used the same as a standard DE razor.
Nothing special to use it, just short, smooth strokes.
Try to use a steep angle, handle closer to your face, and use the comb as your guide (ride the comb) and you will be rewarded.

Nothing at all. Slants actually guide you in the right direction even if your technique was lacking to begin with.

Yes, UK. Purchased from Connaught Shaving. It has now arrived, and very lovely it is too, but too late for todays shave.

Unless they run out again!
Only problem with a fast FOCs start... it will be hard to find a better modern slant. And I love my many current production slants.
Perhaps if you email Paul at Connaught <[email protected]> with a proposed purchase date... he might keep one to the side for you. On the other hand he may not; but it would be worth asking IMO.Don’t say that, you’ll make me buy it before Christmas

Using my Parker Semi-Slant tomorrow morning. The FOCS may have upended the slant apple cart for me though. I know the Parker will do a good job...but not as good as the FOCS.
