Not an afficienado, but Ive always enjoyed the Cazedores varieties for sipping. Especially the Extra Anejo. Might not fit into wedding gift territory, but well under your price point.
I tried Mezcal once. It was long long time ago in Juárez at Senior Frog. Still remember the taste. Like a juice of a cheap summer sausage ran through a blender.Have you tried Mezcal, is gentler with the stomach and smoother on the throat

I agree. Had some last night.I don't think it gets much better than Don Julio Anejo.
You made a fine choice, Sir. That is a fine tequila. Don't let my profile fool you. I live in Nashville for past three years but I'm from Los Angeles and married to a beautiful Mexican Girl I like to think I know a thing or two about tequila. With that being said, I don't need everyone to challenge me. I'm not one of those snobby teguila party guys that think they know everything about tequila. I'm just a guy married into Mexican and learned what good tequila is and is not. THATS ALL I'M SAYING

Don Julio is good. Gran Cenenario Anejo is considered top shelf in Mexico by Mexicans. It is not so popular in the US so the label will not impress but the taste will.Just like the title says, I wanna hear about sipping tequilas you gentlemen like. My buddies wedding is coming up and I want to surprise him with some good stuff.
I’d like to keep it $100 and under if I can.
He likes Don Julio and Patron. I know there’s better tequila out there so help me out!
