Here in the NYC metropolitan area the prices of single malts have (long) been rather outrageous compared to some parts of the US. I've burned quite a bit of equally high priced petrol in search of shops with my preference of distilleries at a decent price. Ignoring what I suspect is a multitude of government restrictions and prohibitions; is there any mail-order, rum runner, or perhaps a B&B group buy possibility to provide some equalization/relief/support/entitlement?
