Sunday Schick shave, Jan 24th 2021

Razor: Stick Schick L type theme series- MFG 1973, Mild razor, need 3 passes with a single edge blade. Twin II blades works well.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE(2) excellent injector blade, Very sharp smooths out nicely with great longevity. Works good on mild injector razors IMO.
Soap: Razorock Blue barber, nice barber shop scent, excellent lather properties.
Brush: Yaqi red Zebra 26 mm, excellent lathering creator, heavenly soft brushes, gentler scrub & excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = great shave with my Stick Schick + a Personna injector blade.

Sunday Schick shave, Jan 31st 2021

Razor: Schick adjustable injector Model 3(M3)- excellent Schick injector razor, still mid range in the 2-3 adjustment range.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(6) excellent blade, sharp & smooth and inexpensive, great longevity.
Soap: Proraso red Sandal wood- great soap, different Sandal wood scent than other's, great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Red Zebra 26mm- If a person likes big knots that have heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scub & excellent lather painter and has a awesome handle this one might be worth it IMO. One of my favorite 26mm synthetics.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar Cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso red Sandal wood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + minor irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Schick adj injector M3 + a Personna injector blade (6).

Sunday Schick Shave, Feb 7th 2021


Razor: Schick injector hybrid Canadian variant G type- Mfg 1940's& 50's? Niagara Falls Canada, excellent injector, mid range<, affordable with a black handle which is rarity.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (8) excellent blade, Very sharp, smooths out nicely with great longevity.
Soap: Speick- spicy mild scent with excellent lather qualities + reasonable post feel.
Brush: Yaqi Red Zebra handle 26 mm knot- my favorite larger synthetic, heavenly cloud like tips with a nice gentle scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2+ pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post: shave: spray on witch hazel + Nivea refreshing A.S + a dollop of (Nivea balm.(-40c, 37 humidity indoors)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Canadian Schick variant G Type with a Personna coated injector blade.

Today I used my ER-1914 razor. I haven't used this razor in awhile and forgot how nice this shaves. This is one of my favorite razors for sure. In my top 3 razors. I used it with some Erasmic cream and it was beautiful smooth shave. If you haven't tried this razor yet you have to try and get your hands on one. They are one of the great classics.

Schick Type G, for a close and comfortable shave. Really impresses me, and makes me wonder about how much money I have spent on other razors.

The Sabre L2 always gives me a wonderful, no drama shave. A great razor with a very secure place in my 'Big Dog' rotation.

Razor: Pal Injecto-matic- MFG 1952+?,mild range, great razor for a 3 pass shave, Pal spent over 1 million dollars tooling and designing in the the 1950's with this mild razor.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, great longevity, good blade for a mild razor.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco- nice citrus scent on a -30C morning in Northern Alberta, great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi lucky dice 26mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, good backbone + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Great shave with my Pal injecto-matic with a Personna injector blade.
