Pre-shave: warm shower then waterboarding with a cold, damp shave binky for about two minutes
Lather: Wickham’s 1912 Club Cola, bowl-loaded/face-lathered
Aftershave: Ulm Nom
Post-shave: face wash with shave binky
Post-shave: mentholated Equate moisturizer

Shower and shave took five minutes less than the one before and it was slightly closer, too. Scuffing the right hand side of my chin, though. Have to stop while it’s still there.

Avoided too much fussing around the right hand side of my chin and two ATG passes and cleanup on the rest of my face and neck. A few stragglers remain here and there, but I know where they live.

The Enoch by Classic Shaving (no longer produced) was and is an extremely very good shaver. Practically modeled after the RX Asylum by Bullgoose with a couple of tweaks here and there but, it uses the same 3 piece concept of a tongue & groove set up. Quality control with the Enoch was spotty across the board with some being acceptable and others not so much. Mostly the issue was with the guard span and how it was sort of wavy looking and not being straight enough for most shavers. I can truly say that it does not effect or hamper the shave one bit but, the aesthetics perhaps turned quite a few off and many just returned them thinking it could potentially be an unsafe razor. For me it was far from it. Mine has a very subtle like turn towards the end of the guard that looks like it‘s pointing up but, the span between the blade & safety bar is identical from one end to the other. The other issue was with the alignment of the head & base plate via that tongue & groove arrangement. Since it was MIM produced, maintaining mold integrity was not the best and it caused the head to not lock in correctly thus not clamping the blade down. No bueno. It was made of sintered stainless steel which is a plus. Shame really that they never made a 2nd run to correct the issues as I believe it would have been an excellent shaver if the kinks were worked out. Mine works well with excellent blade lockdown & alignment. I got lucky with this particular razor and thoroughly enjoy the shaves it provides.

Sunday Schick shave, September 24th 2023

Razor : Schick i2 injector with hydro magic feature variant-Mfg 1954-57, mild to tame mid range. Well built to last and gives a nice shave quickly if needed. I enjoy this razor because it nimble and works well. Had a comfortable close shave this morning.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock The Dead sea, nice unique scent with some excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "black marble" 24mm Tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. First Yaqi brush I bought this on sale 4 years ago and feels great + works well still.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The dead sea splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick i2 injector with a coated Personna blade. Not much left to shave from yesterdays closer shave.

Summary - Every shave is just amazing in results. It can be harsher at times, but I am getting the hang of this razor. Soap is amazing. And LOTH seal of approval!
