Just curious, do you notice any difference in your physiology when using a caffeinated soap and aftershave? Does it really offer a kick to your morning routine like the company says it does?

I think the strong spearmint scent gives a kick to my morning mood, and caffeine is an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant when used topically, but don't expect it to up your caffeine intake.

A good-enough-for-relaxed-fit-Friday shave. I've gone two shaves on this blade beyond the point where I said I was going to bin it. I mean it now. The blade is no longer providing efficient shaves. Probably means this handsome razor is done for SEptember.

today was my Type M set on 5. It was nice and uneventful, just what I was after. The brush was another custom I have and the Soap was Carribean Holiday, which I missed this year, and AS was Island Man. Can you tell I am sad our vacation was cancelled?

First time using the razor at 6, but it didn't seem more efficient than 5. I'll stay at this setting for a few more shaves.

Pretty rough feeling shave today. Sort of like sandpaper removing the hair. Only my second shave with this razor but didn't feel as smooth as the g bar.

Afterward my skin was not irritated and I was pretty smooth. It just wasn't as enjoyable of a shave
