Congrats! I love both versions of this razor with a standard Gem PTFE.there is a long time i’ve not buy anything razor but i can’t pass one this one i found 15 miles from home.
having both versions, i would say it’s not ideal with a gem blade there’s some room for the blade to move, maybe i have to try the double spin trickCongrats! I love both versions of this razor with a standard Gem PTFE.

My first SE shave tonight! My Brand new Gem Featherweight arrived today. This is my first Gem so I found the head quite strange, LOL!!
I'm looking forward to shaving with it tonight!
My first SE shave tonight!
2 pass WTG/XTG resulting in a near BBS shave!
Uneventful, smooth & very close using GEM Personna SS blades.
It's definitely different because of the shape of the head but easy to adapt.
Only thing was a tad of burning sensation after the shave which I would attribute to the thicker
blade. My skin has to get used to it. But my face ended up smooth!
I like it!
True!Congrats on the SE shave! They’re great!
The Feather Weight is a light razor. That irritation might have been from a little too much pressure if you’re used to using a heavier razor. It could be the blade, but my money is on it being the first run with a new-to-you, light razor.
