I took a “pocket full of razors “ to a local thrift store where I’ve picked a few of my razors intending to swap a few I had duplicates of, but saw nothing new. The only one there I didn’t have, but had passed on before was a user grade 1924 Shovel Head. Thinking I could always take the head to brass if the plating was too bad, I asked, but he declined to do a trade right now because business had been slow. The look on his face and tone of his voice confirmed the truth so I asked if he’d be willing to swap the handle on it which was pretty rough for the Art Deco one off another Ever Ready, paid and left with an even heavier pocket full of razors...

Really cool that you have the original shipping box. Thanks for sharing the photos. I'm not familiar with the Enders razor. Since the shipping label has a zone designation instead of a Zip code, I'm guessing that the razor was bought before 1963, when Zip codes started. Also, the style of the razor is similar to Schick injectors of the 60s. Any ideas on the age?

Fishing the wildwaters for razors, it seemed that the AutoStrops were biting!

These all were landed in the last couple months. I finally revived the strop today, then stropped and shaved with the vintage blade that came mounted in the razor that is assembled. A very decent CCS+ shave.

That one was a promotional item from The Philadelphia Enquirer. I wonder how much use, if any, it got. And how it got to Oregon.
