I picked up a very clean G-Bar that I first spotted back in February (before I headed down the SE rabbit hole) -- it was still at the shop, so home it came. I'm only one shave in, but I like the weight and it's a good choice when a milder shave is wanted. The Art Deco handled 1912 was part of a $5.00 bundle deal with a black handle Super Speed and a 48-50 Aristocrat, with all three cleaning up well. The 1912 is heavier overall, but the longer handle and head geometry balance it out, giving it similar shave characteristics to my 1912 squat head with a shorter travel handle.

My Latest acquisition. I was just watching it and got a reminder 1 minute before it was sold so I waited, popped in a not much higher than current bid in hopes of getting if reasonably. The bid went through as less that my max and I won. This is going to get a blade, and used at least once. Most likely its going on to my razor display in my office with all it's buddies. I'll post when it arrives!

I scored this NOS Schick Injector M1 Adjustable (AKA Dial) made in Sweden on Ebay from Spain.

It shoud be a 1972 model from the code on the box

I hadn't been lucky in the past with vintage injector blades, I'm curious to try the provided 5 "Platinium Swedes" as the cardboard looks pretty good, a sign the package hasn't suffered much humidity in the past 48 years.

Saw this back in early June when I picked up my first SE: a GEM Featherweight, and I was going to buy this one as well, when a Gillette Big Fellow OT caught my eye. I couldn't pass up the Big Fellow, but I didn't want to jump in head first into the SE rabbit hole and test the wife's patience with three razors. I've since discovered that I like the squat head GEMs with the shorter handles, and I really like the art deco handles so I squeezed in a stop at the same shop and it was still there. It's in really good condition and will be added to the rotation once I'm through with OCtober and my DEs.

(Un)Fortunately the shake sharp I posted in here a while ago pushed me down a very slippery soap. I loved shaving with it so much I picked up a razor for every kind of blade. My se collection now includes a: mongoose minigoose, ever ready 1912, and a blackland vector. Not all have arrived yet, but I will update when they do.

Finally bumped into the Turquoise Schick G5. I'm going to nickname it the Aquaman.

I don't see any sign it was targeted at the ladies. The folded brochure inside attempts to get "John A. Downs" to pony up $1.00 for a "waterproof case of lustrous Durez (form molded)... personalized by having your name engraved on the cover" and an "Injector Cartridge fully loaded with 20 blades"!

Snazzy gold/red lid, too!
