Just got in my Schick adjustable which is a welcome addition. I am not sure if it is a M2 or a M3, but it appears to be in great condition. View attachment 1025497

Looks like a Model 3 (M3) the M2 series have a Black dot with a cross in the center and some have the blade protector also on the M2 series.

From what I see it looks like a Gem 1912 model(it's based on the Damaskeene 1912 model with minor improvements to base plate) if you look at were the handle screws into the head you will see a stamp 1912. Looks like the razor is in good shape and when mastered gives one of the nicest shaves with a Gem Personna SS PTFE blade. More than likely MFG in the 1920's(1927-30?) because of the chain link handle is my guess .

I just pulled the trigger on a Schick type D. Now I have at least one example of types D, E, G, I, J, L, M and N. I am not holding my breath for that type F.

They are really good shavers though it might take a few shaves to figure out how to get a good shave out of the razor. It took me about 5 to 6 shaves before I was able to bang out a BBS shave with one but after that the shaves have been consistent BBS quality shaves.

Type L Schick '500' injector. Far as I know these were never sold in the US. This one is made in Holland and most likely was made sometime between 1967 and 1975.
