Simpsons - Fan vs. Bulb Shape

Folks,
I wanted to kick off a thread on Simpsons brush shape. The Simpsons come in both fan and bulb shape and also a "semi-bulb" where there is definitely some curvature to the brush but not totally bulbous.

I see a lot of 2-band with the bulb shape and a lot of 3-band with the fan shape and I was wondering if that was intended and 100% the case. So my question is:

Are all 2-banded Simpsons bulb shaped and all 3-band fan shaped?

Interesting question......

All of my Simpsons are post Vulfix.

CH1 Super - Semi-fan. Slight curvature.
CH1 Best - Total bulb shape. (This brush looks 2 banded but is not the new hair. Brown instead of black shafts.)
CH2 2 Band - Bulb shape but a little flatter on top than most of the pics I have seen of the new 2 Band models.
T2 2 Band - I'll have to wait and see....

Well the first post throws my theory right out the window

Lets see how many more do so as well. Thanks for responding!

Forgot to add...

My Major in Super is distinctly bulb shaped.

I have noticed a fair amount of variation in the Simpsons. Maybe it is due to being handmade. For example, the handle on my CH1 Best is slightly but noticeable wider/taller than my CH1 Super. The Best also has about a 4mm taller loft at the peak. The handles are also slightly different in color. I think the slight inconsistencies/differences in Simpsons is part of their charm. It is easy to see they are hand made by individual craftsmen. Maybe one of the craftsmen likes bulb shaped knots and another likes fan shaped. Who knows!
