Simpsons Case vs. Duke 1 for Travel

I have a Duke 3 for my "every day" at home brush and am looking to add a nice travel brush to the mix. Which of these do you prefer and why? I have read that some like the narrower loft of the Case over the Duke 1. Thanks!

What about the drying time with the Duke 1 vs. Case? I've been told the Duke 1 takes much longer to dry out.

I had a D1 (sold it to fund a D2). But now sorry I didn't keep it for travel. Just completed a 3 week trip and took a stick of Speick and my Semogue 620. I really like the 620 and it lathers up a storm. But frankly, for me, it's just hard to beat the feel I get out of my Duke. If I still had my D1 it would become my official travel brush.

I have both and would certainly recommend the D1, hands down. It is a far better brush in every dimension, IMO. If you travel A LOT, then yes, the Case may be better as the drying time is likely a little less than the D1, but as far as owning a brush, the D1 is a far superior brush. Again, just my 2 cents.

What about the Classic 1?
It seems like a popular travel brush too and fits perfectly in the Simpsons travel tube.

I haven't had a D1, but out of all my Simpsons best brushes I like the Case most of all even for at home in the rotation.

Thanks for all the responses. I ended up purchasing a Wee Scot (along with some Proraso pre-shave) from RoyalShave. Just got this package in today and will be using the Wee Scot tomorrow morning. I will see if this will satisfy my need for a decent travel brush. Either way I felt the need to have the Scot in the mix.
