Those of you that have this brush, did it shed quite a few hairs at first? Or, do Simpsons in general shed a little bit? It's lost ohhh..... a dozen hairs probably?? I don't anticipate it falling apart any time soon, just wondering if this is normal behavior for these. I hear people talking about brushes not shedding and really I wouldn't expect a Simpson to shed. But, maybe they do?

Shedding can be normal in any brush. This is a pretty good article that outlines everything.

Thanks. I wasn't too worried about it but wanted to be sure.
My T2 was shedding like crazy and would not stop. The seller exchanged it for another one and this has not lost a single hair. You see, there can be quite a difference in the same kind of brush.
Initial shedding can and should be expected but if it continues steadily I would contact the vendor. Always buy a brush from a reputable vendor..
