Simpson Stickers...

I was just wondering if there is a way to keep the stickers on the Simpson's brushes through the years. I've heard some can fade and/or fall off.

Do you seal it on? If so, how?

Thanks:thumbup1:

I have seen many posts where Simpsons brush owners have applied a coat of clear nail polish to the sticker and let it seal dry.

clear coat spray paint for automotive use will do the trick.

Beat the sticker to the punch and remove it yourself upon receipt of the brush. It'll look better without it anyway :001_tt2:

I think this is true for the Somerset and earlier brushes where the brushes have the Simpson stamp. On the Vulfix made Simpson brushes, it just looks like an empty void that needs to be filled on the brushes.

If the sticker falls off, it was meant to be.
...or just use the nail polish.

Disagree. I know I'm the weirdo here, but I actually prefer the more minimalist naked 'empty void' look.

I wouldn't say you are weird. I probably should have emphasized that I prefer the Vulfix-made brushes to have the stickers. However, if Vulfix adds the Simpson engraving in the future, then the stickers are going to be taken off the brush and placed on the box :001_smile.

On a side note, I am not a huge fan of the engraving on the new Vulfix-Simpson brushes. I feel it somehow breaks the smooth continuity of the brush. I would much prefer if they went back to inking them.

Or you can leave it on until it falls off and then email Simpson and ask for them to send you a new one. The sticker fell off my chubby yesterday, emailed progress-vulfix and got a response from Brett asking for my address to send me a new one.

I as well have received stickers from Progress/Vulfix.
I didn't put them on, but the company is kind to send them.

:As the brush matures it sheds its label-just like loosing baby teeth. It is a natural development and should not be interfered with. Later it may start to go bald!:scared::001_tongu

Justin, I simply sent an e-mail at Brett (Simpson/Vulfix General Manager) and asked for some replacement stickers to eventually use in the future, if needed. Simpson's customer service is EXCELLENT and I got them free of charge. :thumbup1:

Thanks Marco, I just ordered a brush directly from Brett and sent him an email about the stickers. I can also speak to the excellent service from Brett. Quick responses and great communication!
