Got another Commodore X3 today. Always liked the handle but the first one I ordered was not at all like the second. Loft on the first one was a lot taller and was more of a fan instead of the traditional Simpsons hybrid. That being said the first fan type knot felt more densely packed. The first one I acquired work just fine but it always looked weird to my brain compared to my other Simpsons. I'll post pics of both. The first picture is of the one I received today the smaller second picture is the first brush I ordered over a year ago. That picture of the original X3 is also after at least 25 shaves and it never truly bloomed. The first oddball X3 is getting passed on to a new wet shaver I work with in the morning. The one I received today work great and is actually now one of my favorite Simpsons.
