Shave Ready? Maybe, but let's say No. My shaving edge will not be your shaving edge. While all razors have been in my rotation and are acceptable to me, given variable expectations and requirements please assume that all razors will need honing to meet your own shaving standard.

These are used and vintage razors. To paraphrase translated language I see frequently in listings on Japanese auctions: "Items are used or old. Those who seek perfection should refrain from buying to prevent troubles."

LIVI notes from listing when I purchased it used:
This is a Livi Custom in beautiful condition. 7/8, Abalone LVS, 1/2 Hollow
It does have a few small patches of residual surface pits right on the tiny spine-wear, close to the middle of the hollow grind just below the spine. It is carbon steel Damascus made by Camillo Silvano. Scales are genuine Abalone LVS (laminated veneer sheet).

What you *really* want is a butterscotch Chubby 2 in glorious two-band SiLVERTiP (gah! that branding). If it didn't turn out I hate Chubby handles (I kept trying, I really did, many versions) that would be a grail brush for me. Indeed I'd hoped it was, but it wasn't
