Simpson doesn’t sell treated hairs, it’s their thing that they sell their natural hair and have variability year to year.

I don’t know how any brush can be softer than a Simpsons Chubby super. I’ve used other silvertips, some with more loft resulting in a floppy knot, but not softer. Ymmv
