I recently bought a 1971 Gillette plastic handled Superspeed. I use this razor as a shower razor for a quick shave if I'm in a hurry. I used it with some Headslick this morning and an Israeli Personna blade and the results were fantastic!!! I got a DFS in about a 5 minutes...The Personna blades are a dream in that razor!!! Way better than the Merkur blades I started with...

Good to hear that you have a razor for good, quick shaves. Those Super Speeds sure are nice.

I have a Merkur long handled chrome razor that's a little more aggressive for after shower shaves. I loaded it with an Astra blade but I haven't tried it yet. That's my weekend razor for when I do the whole shaving routine.
