My first pipe was your standard blister pack Grabow I still have it but it doesn't get used too much. A few years ago I picked up this Tru-Grain Lovat just because I have never seen another one like it

One of these days I'll work on my photo taking being much better.. till then, though..

The two on the left are my dad's old pipes that he gave to me when he found out I was picking up pipe smoking. They were the gift set Grabow had at one point, with both stem styles and all the bowl options in one package. I have all the other bowls as well, with one or two of them never even smoked. The bent stem with the red bowl was his favorite, and it was always Middleton Apple tobacco. No way I'll ever get that ghosting out of that pipe and bowl, not that I'd want to. The scent has all the memories associated with it.
