I think my Ozuku is the most used stone I have. I totally understand
Thank you! It is - man, it is on another level with razor finishing.Looks like a killer razor hone, very nice.
Does look like an asagi for sure, and a decent sized one aswell! How many asagis do you have now bro?View attachment 994141 View attachment 994142
My hardest stone - Ozuku Asagi 5+++ or how it was sold to me - but man it is hard AF. I count the hours to when I can use it again. This stone gets all my kamisori and western straight razors super sharp and finished.
What is kind of stone is the base stone?
That’s the crazy part - so many stones are labeled Asagi - it’s an unfortunate catchall term applied to so many different stones.Does look like an asagi for sure, and a decent sized one aswell! How many asagis do you have now bro?
I bought one of those myself - I actually don’t use it as much as I thought I would. But I can see why people like them. I’ll have to give it another go here soon.Nice one Tom. I love Botan toishi. Such a useful stone coming from synthetics and they are becoming so rare to find. Bench stone I mean.
