Show us your custom/one of a kind brush

I actually checked with local laws before even taking the piece of dead coral. It would have been a no go had it had so much as a tiny speck of algae on it. And I still declared it going through customs just to cover all bases.
It's very messy to work with, even after stabilizing in resin.
All said and done, it's the coolest way to remember my trip to Hawaii.

Bravo ! Very smart thinking, and good for you ! Environmentally friendly, ecologically smart,
and a beautiful brush ! I hope you enjoy the shaves and the Hawaiian memories for a long time.

Shave Forge 20mm boar knot that I set at a short and scrubby 47mm loft
I love the grip and the contrasts in the woodgrain :001_wub:

I’ve got three. One is a custom cut eagle shape in a fancy wood that I can’t remember the name of, by MYCarver. I stuck a chubby 2 super knot in it. The next is a vintage Klenzo, I had M&F reknot with Blond Badger. And the last is one of my oldest brushes. A custom turn by a member whose ID I believe was Bullseye... He offered to create a pinch at the top to increase back bone and prevent bloom when I told him I wanted something with a super low loft. And that’s why I call it my Q-tip of badger hair.
