I just use a piggy bank. The slot is convenient and if I really want to, I could shake them out the hole at the bottom.
There was a time when you couldn't buy a medicine cabinet that DIDN'T have one!Was very common until at least the 1970's
I personally wouldn't use glass because if it breaks you'll have DE blades strewn everywhere. Metal tins and cans aren't breakable, and even if they get crushed the blades will most likely stay inside.Wouldn't an empty glass jam jar be a good storage for used DE blades? You would simply unscrew the top, pop the used blade in then simply screw the top back on, then once its full for disposable, you could secure the lid with gaffer tape to stop it being accidently opened?
Jason.
Ok that is helpful. Never thought of that. Just thought a jam jar would be a sturdy way to store used blades. But thanks for that reply anyway.I personally wouldn't use glass because if it breaks you'll have DE blades strewn everywhere. That’s brilliant, I’m going to start using that method today! When I use to DE shave, I just gave my used blades to those pesky kids who wouldn't keep off my lawn. Solved two problems.
