Show off your carbine *Pics Thread*

Based on another thread in this forum, I thought I'd get one started for carbine lovers. I'll post mine later tonight, but in the mean time, show 'em off and tell us all about why you love them so much!

Me shooting my Sabre upper/BCM lower at a carbine class.

Its got a 2MOA Ampoint Pro red dot sight and mostly Magpul furniture. It's a mid length 5.56mm gun so it runs smoothly and very reliably. I'm certain it hasn't been cleaned for over 3k round with no malfunctions. That's mainly running Wolf. I've edone all of the upgrades myself and I enjoy shooting this smooth shooting and reliable carbine.

Ha! When the "assault weapons ban" was pending back in the 90's, I didn't have a "black rifle" so I made one out of my Korean surplus M1 Carbine. I put it in a Ramline synthetic stock, bought a bayonet, many thirty round mags and a tactical rifle case for it. Evil, evil gun.

It's a hoot to shoot, and I'd not feel sorry for myself one little bit if something went bump in the night and I had to count on that old "peashooter" loaded with 28 rounds of 110 grain JSPs.

My home built Ar15 in an M4 format. I've never had a jam or a problem feeding and it'll shoot 1" groups out of a 16" barrel.

It sits under my bed mag in, bolt open, safety on, waiting for something to go bump in the night. It's no the best weapon for it but it will get the job done until I can get something better.

Dirty Donuts are so Good.
I have a Colt LE6920MP-OD w/optional EoTech XPS2 Holographic sight or Vortex Speed Point Aiming for Rapid Combat reflex sight (SPARC) I will see if I can take some cell phone pics after my new years shift tonight and post them up.

I could swear I've seen this Lebowski guy somewhere before... :biggrin1:

Anyway, here's mine, a Colt 6933. It doesn't quite look like this anymore, though.

Nice rifle, but hopefully it will be replaced by a Sig Sauer M400 in the not too distant future and this will find a new, happy home.

I built the rifle from a S&W M&P stripped lower. The upper is a Cerro receiver with a Daniel Defense barrel. I've also added a Magpul AFG since the pic and changed the light to a Surefire P101 which makes it look a little more high speed. (I'll try to put up a newer pic tonight)

Love seeing the M1 Carbines prominently displayed here. One of my very favorite firearms, the M1 Carbine.

My favorite firearms are rifles, especially bolt action sporters so I don't know how so many carbine-length long arms crept into the menagerie. This photo was taken a few years back for another forum carbine thread.
