Short handled travel tech

So over the past weekend I found this number at the antique/thrift store across from my apartment.



L1 1966 3 piece Travel Tech (Both of my parents birth year!)
It is in beautiful condition, and much heavier than I thought it would be! So I'm sure it is one of the stainless steel ones.
I noticed from reading this forum that a lot of people have different handles on tech razors are there many options for this type of tech?
Also, are there any tricks to shaving with such a short handled razor?

No tricks using Travel Techs' handles. I use mine with the same handle and a 4-piece Travel Merkur when away from home. BTW I like this '60s Tech's head better than the earlier ones from the 50s and 40s.

Lots of people customize their techs with different handles. They feel the different weight affects the performance etc. I was so used to the long handled Machs that i thought I had to have a long handled DE as my Flare Tip seemed stubby. When i finally got a long handled DE (Krona), I found i was choking up on the bat and didnt need all of the handle. With the travel tech, holdinging on the ball or just up from it seems more comfortable than you would think.
