Someone here posted a pic of a short handle Superspeed a while back. Is the short handle a mod or is it an actual production Gillette razor? If the razor was a Gillette production razor what model / name was it sold under

That is a fantastic razor I have to have one of these. Are these razors a rarity / difficult to find?
On the rarity ladder I'd put it on the same step as Sheraton but with the tag price of a Ranger Tech.
I see less of these than I do Sheratons. I love mine, its a handy little shaver even if it was meant for a girl!
It was probably my picture that you saw. I just got it in the mail the other day and cleaned it up last night. Very cool little razor. I had never seen one for sale when I first stumbled across it on Mr-Razor, then I happened to find one on eBay a few days later.
If you're keeping an eye out there, look for descriptions like "Super Speed Travel Razor", that's how mine was listed, no mention of Milady-Tech.

It's really a shame that Gillette never made a nickle version as a travel razor.
Yup , seen more Presidents than these, let alone Sheratons. Gary--I can see your eyes hazing over with this. I understand, they are neat.
They still seem to be relatively unheard of, so the price, at least for mine, wasn't bad, about $35 shipped.
