Shoe shops in NE England

Hello again chaps, long time no speak but I have been incredibly incredibly busy this last few months and just plain haven't had time to contribute.

I was wondering if any of our distinguished British chaps could point me in the direction of quality b&m shoe stores in the North East of England, as I want to go and invest in my 1st properly fitted pair of shoes.

I have several pairs of decent-ish brogues and oxford shoes, but I am looking to step up and step out in something a bit finer, call it a christmas present to myself.

I will consider any online portals you may suggest as well, but b&m is my main area of interest because I believe you can't get a good fit without someone there to fit the shoes to you.
