Shirt on or off when shaving?

I'm not doing any shaving videos, and I shave alone, so the only shirt I wear is the natural fur coat our Lord has given me.

I do both, mostly off on days when I shave before shower and the days I shave after shower shirt is always on!

No shirt. If I'm shaving right after the shower and before breakfast, I'll put on my pajama bottoms, but not the top. When I'm done I change into my slacks and around-the-house shirt; it's light-colored, so I don't mind if it gets Clubman powder on the collar.

If I'm shaving in the afternoon or evening, I'll remove the shirt, but leave on the slacks or jeans I'm wearing.

I suppose if I wore an athletic shirt, I might leave it on -- it wouldn't matter if my lower throat and upper chest got wet. But I don't think I own any of those.

I do both, but I prefer an undershirt or t-shirt. My big bathroom mirror is a constant reminder that my gym’s been closed for the last 6 months. So there’s that. Plus I tend to splash water, so my shirt absorbs the water then it goes into the laundry after shaving.

The shirt I wore before my shower,
becomes the cloth I use when I shave after the shower,
and then it goes into the laundry.

Shirt off. I use big brushes, and a lot of soap, and I add a lot of water. Makes for a luxurious shave, but I tend to get lather all over the place.
