Shaving supplies in Washington, D.C.

Does anyone know of a store that sells shaving supplies in the wash dc or northern va area? All I have found is a couple of art of shaving stores.. I am here for work and left my brush and soap at home.

thanks

Just looking for a decent brush and soap/aftershave. This time I am here just for a week but I come to dc for work almost every other week for a week.

The Grooming Lounge on 1745 L st. NW downtown. And right across the street is an AOS. Grooming Lounge also has a store in Tyson's Galleria.

A few finds in Old Town Alexandria, just south of DC:

Patrick's in Old Town keeps Santa Maria Novella and EJ soaps, creams, some brushes and DE's. Some other tidbits too, like alum blocks and stuff.

There is Scottish Store on lower King Street, also in Old Town, keeps MWF soaps, including shave soap.

The Gentleman's Quarters http://www.thegentlemensquarters.com/ keeps TOBS soaps, creams, balms, and preshave. They also give a great haircut if you've got the coin. I take my Dad there when he's in town as a treat. It's open bar, old school wood panels, high class man space. Those haircuts always seem to last longer. Watch for deals. They have shaves on the price list. I think it's an M3, but it's not clear. There are a few straight photos on the page.

The Variety Store, next to the hardware store on Ft. Hunt, has Omega boar brushes for $13, and Omega soaps. Maybe another low cost soap, but I forget.

I'm shocked. I grew in Alexandria, my brother and mother still live there and I'm only an hour west and did not know these places existed. Thanks for the scoop.

Anytime you're in town, we would love to have you in for a visit. We have brushes as well as soaps from Proraso, Geo. F. Trumpers, and more in stock. Or, of course, if you're feeling lazy, we could just do the shaving for you.

GLteam, who are you?
