shaving stick or shaving puck

I love shaving sticks for a little change here and there, but overall I like loading my brush on a puck best.

I use pucks 95% of the time but i keep a few sticks to switch things up. If i really like the soap from a stick (e.g. La Toja) i'll typically convert it to a puck so it will get more use.

I've found some soaps just work better in puck form than stick. It is easier to really load your brush up from a puck if that type of soap works best that way. I prefer sticks.
I only face lather regardless.

Variety is only available if you diversify. Soaps, shave sticks, shave creams. You need to experience them all.

I'll second this, though I like soap sticks and pucks, a good shave cream is a welcome change to a daily routine.

Pucks all the way. The sticks I buy just get milled down and formed into a puck.

I learned face lathering with using sticks on travels. Now, I am only lathering on my face, no matter what I use, pucks, sticks, creams... Sticks are good for travelling and learning to face lather.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've assumed that it is a portmanteau of "cream" and "soap".

I turn pretty much everything into a stick. Croaps such as Cella and P160 work great as a stick.
