The only shave that I can find in the narrative of the Bible.

"So Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they rushed him from the dungeon, and he shaved (himself) and changed his clothes, and he [then] came to Pharaoh." (Genesis 41:14)

A very naturalistic and "modern" observation in the story.
