Now who would have thought such an ingenious design would have made it in such a similal fashionon both sides of the Atlantic? Both an American and a German version of the same basic idea. Likely the American set, which came later, was a copy of the other -- slightly. One was delivered in the cool leather case, the other seemed to be presented as is.
The one in the front came from my son who found it at a flea market in Buenes Aires. The other came from a friend who found it at a flea market in Germany.
Gillette Tech in the American set, the other has a custome DE open comb razor -- no label, Nice brush in a silver cylinder and the other tube is for shaving cream. Nothing in it in either set.
No obvious label on the German set. The other is called "The Weekender" and was made by the Renard Company of New York. There is a comb in the American set, the one in the front. Released by sliding the little button shown here.
