Shaving my head

Hi All,

I have been edging my beard with a straight razor for about a year and a half, and have just completely shaved my head for the first time. I used my straight razor to shave my head the other night pretty successfull, a cou0ke of minor nicks. Just looking for any advice, very tricky when you can’t see the back of your head!

Interesting thread.

I’m looking to purchase my first straight razor. I’d like to keep it at $100 max. (Now that Fathers Day is around the corner, I’ll be able to get away with purchasing one without getting in trouble).

Head Shaving with a straight is like shaving your face. Is all practice and muscle memory and will feel uncomfortable when you start. Good mirror(s) setup is critical

Safety razor on standby is a good idea.
