At one point they imply that lack of testosterone causes heart disease, then later, that excess testosterone does

The key link was hormonal balances which forced the individuals to have to shave, not those that just wanted to.
The whole research sounds doubious at best and will likely be eventually shown to be full of material errors.

It's funny how one can interpret data any way that is favorable to support their position. The vagaries of science.
So does my shaving frequently balance out my baldness?
