Shaving Essentials Disapearance??

Hi Folks. I've been away from the forum for a while so please forgive me if this has already been discussed but my search did not find any results I needed....

Anyone know where shaving essentials has gone? John Crissman has been my no.1 vendor for ages and a real nice guy. I'm finally running down some of my products and I need stuff but the web site has disappeared and he's notreplied to emails. Anyone know the story??

Surely someone may know the story. Or, perhaps they don't. He's still active on Facebook, yet doesn't respond to anyone from here. Not that I'm aware of. He more or less just skipped town and quit responding to orders and shipments, shut down the site and never looked back.

I used to deal with him too. Seems that he went belly up and took some members funds and or merchandise with him. He turned out to be a fraud. I accept no excuses for his behavior. Good riddance. There are plenty of good, honest vendors to do business with and a lot of them are members here.

I've always shopped at classicshaving.com with good results. I have bought one-off items from several other vendors over the years as well. I have had good experiences with "bad" vendors, and bad experiences with "good" vendors. Classic is consistent and always treats me right.

Yes thanks, I use him regularly. I'm mainly after mama bear soaps and thayers now, which cannot be got here
