Shaving Cream and After-shave scents

So, had my third DE shave today.. Fabulous! Decided to pick up some new shaving cream for the occasion, and AoS Sandalwood was recommended. Absolutely love the scent! I had been using my old after-shave (American Crew moisturizer) cream, but was kind of wishing I had picked up a more bracing after-shave, or something with a complementary scent. Not that it smells bad together (not at all), I just really like the sandalwood..

That said, sometimes too much of a good thing is just that... too much. Anyone here have any thoughts on complementary/matching scents, or am I just being a little crazy?

I tend to match categories of scents with my shaving products. For instance, matching menthol products with each other, spicy scented products, etc. But I don't hold myself to that rule; sometimes I mix and match.
