The Shave Nation bowl has a handle at the bottom. It's not nearly as pronounced as the one you linked however.
you can use dessert bowls the same way, very easy to find in metal, glass, ceramic, plastic etc.

How do you put it down? Does it come with a stand with a hole cut in the middle?

People online say it stands up just fine. I would probably store it upside down though.

Sara Bonnyman (who makes the Moss Scuttle) makes a goblet-style bowl.
I love that blue and purple glaze.
Unfortunately, trying to get to her site at the moment returns this message: "Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY"
Those stainless dessert bowls do look nice.
3.9"(D) x 2.4"(H) - if the bowl depth is close to 2", that's almost ideal proportions, for me. Maybe too shallow, if they only have 150 ml capacity.
I don't know how they'd be if you have a clownishly large brush like the Omega 10049 or Rubberset 400.

I use coffee cups holding the bottom in the palm with the thumb through the handle.
